So Wordpress doesn't like you to use flash or javascript as it's a security risk people... You can but it will say no no no at you and you'll have to give it permission, then that comforting green padlock will turn into a big scary red one with an 'x' on it lol.
Looks like I'll have to put these games on the forum then, as in the other forum I had planned.. Bummer!!! unless there's some other cunning way of doing it
Oh yeah and I like to add, use to be fine with flash games wordpress.. Use to have them on my old site

www.kongregate.com/www.addictinggames.com/If you look at those two sites and many others, you'll see they ain't secure. Flash is apparently evil and the green padlock will complain by the seems.. Miniclip and Newsgrounds seem to be one of the few that have got round that somehow.. Most likely not based on wordpress for one, I dunno

We now have reCAPTCHA on the site, Tiger you'll have to tell me if you think it a nuisance.. Don't think it's to bad to be honest
It's that little box thing that pops up when you login or fill out a form etc on the site.. It's for stopping spam and making sure people are human

right today I'm determined to do some blog pages, coming up to a month since I did one. Just gonna do a cute animals one or something then I'll create a quiz for it, just to see what it looks like You can do personality quizzes as well.. Like what character are you, yes I am pretty clueless on what to do with the blog section myself as I know we ain't all blogging types but it's coming up with some ideas, tis all. I do like the classic as I said to Tim of going 10 cute, 5 times, 6 most and all that jazz.. Have you noticed how lots of people do that  |

Did you not set it so it saves your password? what browser you using are you on a tablet? be a shame if you leave, that would be a major bummer |

I can see where you was trying to login on the site.. You deffo need to set your browser to remember passwords and usernames if you ain't, I can't remember all mine either so if you don't let it do it. Well yer gonna be driven up the wall for sure
Have you got FB or one of those that you can login to automatic? if so I can set it so you can sign in that way. Not tried it out yet as wanted to make sure the site was near completion before doing that, it opens up the site to everyone and sundry.

OK, flash is dead I get it... So I tried a HTML5 game and look what the result was.  Worked without a hitch with full SSL... Here we go crazy-chums.com/mutilate-a-doll-2/ not done anything on the page but just to prove it works.. And it's pretty funny to boot this, did it total random as well this game. I just set him on fire, which is one of the options on the right |

I've changed my mind about Buddypress, was on the activity stream and I used RT Media to upload a pic of Rambo and one of me little ditties (not completed).. Pretty cool actually, on the Rambo pic it opens up with a comment field to the right like on FB and you can also like it, set it as featured etc. Quite impressive! problem is it will confuse people no end because there's a total six buttons there from two different plugins.
You have add photos, which you can upload or use a url, post a video link (youtube, vimeo etc)or a site link. Below that is the RTMedia plugin which adds a little more to things. That allows you to upload pics, vids or choons directly to the site. I initially had that off because it will take up my allowance quickly if not careful but as long as people keep that at a low level it shouldn't be to bad.. Just switched the uploading of vids off actually, can still post links to em.. Might have to see if there's a way to have them converted on upload just like on FB, You can actually convert a vid from like 50, 60, 70 MB down to less than five. Gotta use something like handbrake for that

I'm gonna put up the user submitted posts today, so it's basically the NLL blog but wordpress instead. Just gotta write some spill about it and instructions I guess, have to put some more category choices as well.. Wordpress always insists it likes you to choose a category or two At the mo the categories I've got are Art & Entertainment (so films, music, progs and um art etc) Current News (pretty obvious) Mental Health (self explanatory) Stories & Poems (yeah) Video Games (one set aside for PV  ) And I'll put Pets & Animals as another which I ain't yet.. Any others you can think of? could do comedy I guess |
