Anyway is everyone fine with having their noggins on the home page, Yooz are you?.. If I get it to work, there's five slots could do 4 but might not have enough people lol. Tim is on there at the mo but not sure if he's gonna provide me with a nice wee bit of info about himself. Yep, I'm OK with it. |

Did then think of one, where it's. Why are you here? just for comedy reasons more than anything
You see in terms of it being a dating site, you could turn into such if you wanted by having those kind of selection options. Not that it really looks like a dating site but then what does a dating site look like exactly lol

Got the social register and login now up and running for Twitter, Facebook and Google+.. There is an option for Instagram too but I'm not sure about that as it's for those normals who want to show off in the main ain't it? lol. Plus anyone who has Instagram you can guarantee has either one of those other three anyway. This avoids (fingers crossed) people having to deal with the captcha by cloudflare and is more convenient.

I'm gonna try and implement what you suggested PV, can tell you already it's gonna be ruddy difficult.. Can't believe there isn't an option for all this out of the box or a plugin. Well there kind of is and isn't
Plus the social login and register isn't without it's faults. You're avatar switches to that of FB/Twitter/Google+ whichever one you chose to login with, wouldn't be so bad apart from the fact it pixelates the images terribly and you cannot then upload another and replace it, simply refuses.. Might be the way I've got it set up to display images why it is pixelating.. Damn this stuff lol

Yes I have been quiet, just been a bit shaky and stuff not very talkative as my nerves go sometimes.. Anyway home page is up doesn't exactly work perfect on all devices, I'll need to work on it. The title looks bad on a smart phone so might just put a join now image there. The tagcloud plugin (as seen in the footer) seems to overlap with whatever it is I got to the right. There's always little bugs here and there, drives you up the bleeding wall lol
The site was really slow yesterday because the cache plugin had gone tits up as well. It's an endless cycle of things going wrong. Mainly due to updates and incompatibilities
Plus I did spot the other day there are dating plugins for wordpress, not exactly looked into it but I will do.. Oh yeah and the slider doesn't work on phones either and leaves a large empty space if you have it vertical.. Sometimes I just think fuck it though, bloody phones are crap on the net anyway lol

I'm actually finishing up a blog post and the seo prog makes me laugh.. It's very much like you're in school with that really strict teacher everyone use to hate
Comes up with comments like
"The focus keyword doesn't appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately."... OK OK give us a fucking chance won't yer
Anyway the actual piece I've written is quite serious... Thought I better say that

Takes an eternity to even begin to load the homepage. Almost as if it places you in a queue.
Tis the sinclair spectrum/c64 of social websites.

That might be due to javascript. I did think of switching off all the effects as I had noticed sometimes it has a hard time loading them in for some reason. Will do a little later Anyhoo what you complaining about yer don't go on there..  |

I accidentally updated the plugin that produced the white screen of death.. When I saw it had, panic stations but it seems to have worked this time
Just switched the animations off from the homepage too.. Should work better with javascript off now, though I know the social icons near the bottom with javascript off also disappear.. Might have to do a little message thing about it though I'd never do those frigging popups you see on sites that tell you to switch on javascript.

Long time no post here.. Just gotta say about the fact, 1&1 appear to throttle your speeds on shared hosting on occasions to horrendous levels.. As is happening now, this is what I think is happening
Find it no coincidence that when I updated the blog which I have set to bring in articles from a couple of sources this has happened the following day and today. As was said by someone on youtube, try to limit the amount you bring in and I have so as not to impact on the server.. Well not worked it's crashed the server twice on the trot in the process, the next day and today it's been horrendous. It's like they've flicked a switch so that whoever is on the shared host is getting more of the bandwidth is my guess. We know what these companies are like, especially the bigger ones and there's no way they'd even have it in the small print they'd do things like this.. Roll on the year contract being up and changing over to something better.
