Normally when I get a message on NLL, the e-mail notification that I get sent has the subject 'New Message Received'. But now the subject is 'Hey yoozernaim someone really likes you!' I just thought I'd mention this as it's another hint that Jim wants to concentrate on the dating side of things rather than the social networking aspect.

Be so funny if I kept it like that... With much more added of course
Taking Advantage of The Desperately Lonely: Crazy Chums (No) / No Longer Lonely (Yes)
PV said it, he should have let us take it over... As in really, because we care and wouldn't take advantage of people

$40 is a lot for some people on NLL, too much in fact. There are some people on there who are so poor that they have to use food banks. If he is charging that then I hope at least he's going to be spending the extra money that he's getting in on advertising the site.

In other words you are spelling it out, this ain't bloody on what he's done with that site.. He's going to spend it on himself the money, that's what he's gonna spend it on.. PV says he's probably spending quite a bit on it, this might be true to an extent but from the way he's tried cutting corners, think it's easy to assume not that much.. No SLL encryption That's pretty appalling really, I'm sorry Andrew but you know it's wrong don't yer.. I'll tell you my idea right. I thought lets make a site that is truly dedicated to us in the mental health community that we co-finance. A site made not for profit a nonprofit organisation if you will because we need it as people... Call me Gandhi I don't care lol

No waiting about to have your profile verified, by which time your perfect match has upped and left the site, is hopefully another positive @vectorman

If anyone is wondering whether Jim knows himself or not and what he's doing, if maybe he's come on here or been told what's been said... Then looky here for the evidence There's nothing wrong with trying to make a profit generally speaking. When it's off the backs of people who sometimes struggle to afford to be able to heat their houses, or even in some cases struggle to be able to afford food, it is wrong though. What any competitors charge is irrelevant. The amount that Jim should be charging is enough to cover the costs of running the site and any extras such as advertising it, but no more than that. The idea of NLL is great and Jim should be running it to support that idea. If he thinks that people with mental health problems should pay generously for a site like NLL then he should get involved with politics and campaign against poverty and austerity.

In other words, you don't agree with what he's doing?. It was fine when under 10 dollars with everything it had to offer in terms of blogs, story and poems, forum etc but now it's turned into something else a little unsavoury I think. What gets me is, if I carry on making this site (which is slow going) and it has everything his site use to offer but better and even more on top of that.. I know no one is gonna wanna go on it People get use to what they get use to even though deep down they know everything said about what's going on NLL now and in the past has been pretty damn shitty.. I think it's hurtful

All in good time.. Don't forget the blog as well, that has more to it than meets the eyes with a few nice alterations. For example, you can write a blog piece and others can contribute to it, by adding there own pics or whatever. I forgot where I put all the things you can do, forgotten what some of it's called myself lol
