Science I love but also loathe, there's an arrogance a dogma that pervades it whereby "fact" has a tendency to change throughout history and will do so forever more.. Theories are made up out of other theories and are presented to people as by and large fact.. Take evolution for example or global warming, not saying they ain't true but it is just theory. You wouldn't think so would you? as it's presented very much as a concrete fact. Dare you say otherwise, have another theory as to do so is to have people looking at you with if not disgust/contempt than with a face that says, you fu***** weirdo lol.. There are scientists out there that have been brushed aside, ridiculed and made to look like crackpots by this dogmatic regime lol.. Free Thinkers of The World Unite..  |

You know what I'll always remember him for more than anything else? being on Star Trek: Next Generation. No disrespect to the man he's a genius of course but is he not more theorist than physicist?. But then not sure what the difference is really at times, his theories I fear for him will one day go down as poppycock actually.. Some He was both, he was a theoretical physicist. Maybe his biggest achievement was making science more popular, rather than the theories that he came up with, not sure. |

Yep a local fire, it was more billowing than this at one point. Went in the living room, looked out the window and I thought them there clouds are weird looking and they seem to be moving in mysterious ways. Oh it's smoke
The fire brigade took a good 8-10 minutes to get there.

I do like a good fire and did use to have a spray can flamethrower fetish. For some they would prefer it if I jumped into the flames, because well.
