Seen as we have a mental health news thread, not that anyone has noticed lol. Well I find it interesting sometimes amyhoo, thought I'd make a general one for everything else minus perhaps entertainment because that really should go in entertainment...
Reason being I saw a story that might just delight a few regular viewers of our fine forum.

Three or Four Cups of Coffee a Day, Help Prevent an Early Grave Yes it's all true on a study of 20,000 middle-aged men and women they found that those who drank it regularly had mortality rates almost two thirds lower. It's good for the liver and boosts the immune system like some kind of wonder drug. Drink it long and regularly enough each day and you may just reach immortality status. And it's not just one cause of death it can help prevent, oh no but all causes according to this news report.. Hmm one senses a slight twinge of bias in this article, is it written by a coffee addict perchance? . Further reading suggest an extra two cups reduces mortality rate by 64% percent, up from the average of 3 I'd presume. It's all thanks to the antioxidants in coffee, which come in the form of polyphenols (whatever the hell they are)... That's the science part as Jennifer Aniston might say Enjoy your Coffee(s)

P.S. Polyphenols are a structural class of mainly natural, but also synthetic or semisynthetic, organic chemicals characterized by the presence of large multiples of phenol structural units That's cleared that up then... Here's one they made earlier

Had a couple cups in my entire life and I enjoyed it too but me tummy don't like hot drinks... GRRR!!! my Mum just mentioned ice coffee though, which again I know someone likes.. Mention no names
Coffee has had a bad reputation for decades now so it's good to see some positive news for coffee lovers for a change.

Too much effort clicking on sub forums for me lol Well will have to do a mini poll on whether it would be better to merge this all into one one giant forum.. Was thinking of doing a poem and story section too like on NLL, though that could quite as easily slot into the art section really

I'll mull over how many I think would be best.

What about the entertainment one being merged with art? 'Entertainment and The Arts' just to be a pretentious ass about it

Even merge the whole lot if people would prefer that. I kind of like this set-up though definitely could be marginalised a little

Even merge the whole lot if people would prefer that. Maybe keep the Mental Health sub-forum separate. And the games and mod discussion sub-forums separate too.

NibiruI see Nibiru is in the news again lol... A mysterious man calling himself um David Meade claims in September planet Earth is doomed... Doooooooooooomed!!! He wrote a book on this called Planet X: The 2017 Arrival. Just a heads up this happens between the 20th and the 23rd of September, jot it down in yer diaries people. So if you love anyone and you've yet to declare I suggest you get a move on, there's literally no time like the present. Tell them and tell them good so that you may something them something them real good. Well if it's our last days on Earth may as well go out with a bang or two or three. Me I'm sitting this one out in eager anticipation of his next book originally entitled Planet X The 2018 Arrival: Got Me Calculations Slightly Wrong Edition Anyway I read here references to the bible and about some giza called Pyramid sorry a pyramid called Giza. The good thing is, you can make jokes about it safe in the knowledge that if you're wrong to have done so, no one will get the chance to say "told you say".
