What book(s) are you currently reading?

@yooz really enjoying brucies autobiography. Recounts of him being bullied at boarding school, and regularly getting set upon by a dozen guys when the lights went out (Thank god we weren't born in the late 50's. Or if we had been, maybe we'd all have tougher skin)... He was initially brought up by his grandparents in a coal miners home with nary a penny to rub together, before his actual parents got their act together. And how he developed his love of airplanes, tabletop fantasy gaming, all things magic, sword fighting etc... Great read so far.

Read "I Am Ozzy", Ozzy Osbournes bio, talk about a bloke who lucked out in life. I'd say none of his fame was particularly deserved. From burglary, to shooting and setting fire to his pet chickens for fun, biting the heads off bats and doves, wife beating incidents. And his guitarist (Randy Rhoads) dying in a plane crash that was in many ways facilitated by Ozzy for allowing his tour bus driver to be coked out of his mind. (He skimmed the wheels of the plane onto the tour bus while Ozzy slept, seemingly for shits and giggles till losing control)

He definitely hogged all his success off the backs of others, ghost songwriters and all, while America naturally lapped up all the crazy drug fuelled antics.

And yet you'd have to say he's probably going down as a legend or near enough, is there anyone above say the age of 10 who doesn't know who he is.. This is more down to his notoriety than his talent as you say, though I suppose you could say he had some of that too

Thinking about it, him and his family were possibly amongst the pioneers of the ongoing saga that is being famous for being famous as in for nothing in particular.. Like Kim Kardashian and her massive massive, totally massive... No can't say it won't say it.. Could swear her family were in Star Trek DS9? 

That's what they should have done see, instead of rehashing Star Trek for the millionth time they should have went the reality TV route.. Put your phasers on stun for "At Home With The Cardassians: the new hard hitting reality TV show coming soon

No actual Cardassians in it. Maybe they appear in episode 2.
