On the home page of Crazy Chums, where it says
'The Community
There's no need to be alone. Feel free to come join us for a little chat on our main forum in the chatroom or even post a blog and play on our range of free to play flash games.'
I think that you need to add a couple of commas. I think that it should say

There's a new chat thingamabob on the site.. It floats and PV won't like it, I tried switching from opening automatically to not and that option didn't wanna know
But it's very impressive.. Well ish, the person who was a guest appears to have been me lol and it automatically assigned me a name of Loria.. I've closed it to public for now and I'm wondering if it works when logged in?

Yeah it's been noted lol (getting to it).. Probs finish the about page today, still trying to find the perfect hover over image effect plugin with links capability and for free. All of em seem to be paid for when it comes to that option, which is annoying... The search continues There is limitations on ifly chat free edition. Not gonna be much of a problem to begin with, has a user limit of??? 10. There are alternatives though, one of which might be what NLL uses. Looks a bit like it to me this plugin, it's a couple years old now (which isn't a sideways dig!!!).  Tried quick chat as well which was incredibly limited and slow as hell and purechat which seems really really nice but doesn't seem to be for a social network more a business. |

That's it had enough of the tinkering with the home and about page.. Just need to get together all the core things I need, got most things already. Finding a nice hover image effect plugin proved elusive without paying so, bugger that lol.. Now I need to give certain people access privileges so you can be mods. Might get one of these cache progs, though they scare me which apparently speed up your site.. I know the site isn't quite as snappy as NLL but there's a lot more underneath going on

Just another little punctuation thing on the home page that I thought I'd mention. In the 'Our Story and How We're Different' bit I think that the beginning of it should be changed from
'Having spent the best part of 6 years getting to know a small group of people I now consider firm friends. Some of which have often spoken of creating a site dedicated to us and only us in the mental health community, we thought it high time to take the plunge'
to

I've noticed by the way that for some reason I don't appear yet on the list of members on Crazy Chums. Maybe my profile is still being approved.

LOL I did see that earlier, that we're on the 999th post... Did wonder whether to post or not but thought I'd leave it to someone else to do the deed. And yes did wonder about you not showing up in the members list, you do show up in the list of users as a subscriber but not a participant like the others are. I presume it's because of your settings, you got yourself hidden.. Proves it works anyway lol and because you ain't done anything yet like the other two. We should have a try out on the chatroom in the coming days, it's pretty damn slick by all accounts. Better off though going to the home page clicking on the crazy chums chat thingy then on crazy chat followed by open in new tab..
I'm just doing little bits and bobs now, I took a risk and did a little bit of code to remove the editor for security reasons. I'm pleased it worked, a bit of code to get rid of coding and it didn't even go tits up.
But I ain't installed any antivirus or one of these security suits because it sounds like they have a drastic effect on your site performance. So been looking at alternatives to these bloated plugins and now I'm considering the cache ones as well that are a bit spooky to me. Supposedly improve site performance

Saw an interesting plugin earlier, it's online quizzes.. Now that would be cool for the site wouldn't it, some nice interactive elements would really work well
