I am gonna do this article, gave me a brain wave to do a piece on other times this has happened, where products have been pulled from the shelves or faced heavy critism for mocking those with mental health issues. But as ever I'll write it in a style that says but come on it's not that bad is it?.. Well I might a little
In my little bit of research actually remembered some of this stuff as well. Got it all bookmarked, including the Tesco Psycho Ward boiler suit hahaha. Everyone remembers that right?

Nice ones in the mental health community instead of everything being doom and gloom. A wee kid with a cleaning OCD so bad she developed scabs on her hands, who's fears resulted in agoraphobia and hospitalisation has been helped out by her dad with his woodwork skills. He built paint canvases for her knowing that painting was the only thing that seem to calm her down. Well that and some therapy but what a nice story for a change and the Dad now sells his canvases to boot, so made a job of it as well..

Not sure I can categorise myself as a musician lol. And it was about performing and yeah I canni do that in front of people, not in a million years but I know I'm crap so it don't really matter. Think there would be more truth in what she was saying if it was talking about true musicians and their general mind set. Can't help think when she's talking it's coming from a perspective of not so great artists too, rather than true talents who do tend to be fucked up. If Britney Spears losses it as she did or say I dunno Taylor Swift it's likely due to the fact they are a bit crap really and people around them keep telling them they are the best. She pretty much said, the possibility of it being an ego issue and yes the pressure to perform would come into it too but then I was thinking more along the lines of those who are truly artistic.. You gotta be bit off yer nut to be a creative type I'd of thought, someone not afraid of their emotions too helps as it comes from the soul don't it |

Well if you are anything like me, and I haven't read that entire article yet.. Then you'll have that not wanting to be lonely but not wanting to much either and I suspect being in the company of another for prolonged periods will just fuck me up anyway. Today I had my shower my gut has done it's thing.. Slid upwards, I've got wheezy & confused, shaky and I'm just going here and there in my confused state of mind putting the odd thing but I couldn't communicate for very long with anyone. |

Would also say, this will be more and more common place going forward. Men will find it hard as there is to much demand put on guys to be certain ways that are conformist BS, ideals that are virtually impossible for anyone of us to maintain in today's age of political ideologies gone fucking crazy. All this in a society that is increasingly intolerant of anyone that has a strong opinion, an ounce of creative spark and personality, their own mind. They wish to curtail the evil nonconformist who is unafraid to be who they are in their truest sense.. I see it constantly, people changing who they are in order to fit in as not to be marginalised or be thought of as odd and just a wrongun. This is what you must do now to get what you want out of life. All stems from what we're told to be as opposed to who we should be.. I call these people suck ups and sheep I think you honestly have a better chance today if you are dishonest and play a role. You can expect at some point in your life having done this to have an extensional crises when it dawns on you you've not been you but an actor acting a role. Stars are always having this moment in their lives and losing the plot completely lol. |
