Thanks for the mini review on Twin Peaks, I have relayed the information to the relevant party lol.. Crazy C mind is going very slowly during the day now, well not ultra slow but unacceptable speeds and I shall be moving to another server once this year is up. I don't really mind if it ends up a site just for a few of us, could just call it a place away from the BS that is NLL or something  Aboot the X-Files, I was probs one of the few who enjoyed the last series. I think some people have a tendency to already make their minds up when it comes to nostalgic things as nothing can beat the original, nothing.. So through this nostalgia they wear the biggest of rose tinted spectacles of which is smudged a preconceived idea which the mind canni shake.. Nope this is new and bad, new and bad lalalalala, it's what I coined the Napster Effect many moons ago. Same happens to Star Wars |

So who's watched the new series of the X-Files.. Been a disaster so far lol and I liked the last series too when lots were slagging it off
They seem to be going through the motions now (bit like me perhaps in all my illness) both the actors and writers. Gillian Anderson has quit and it kind of has an air about it that they knew this and that possibly it's the end of this show.. It's had an amazing innings though

Another shock horror, was a watchable episode this week. OK so it was like a not bad episode from the old days of the X-files, so none essential but at least it was like the old X-Files. Amy watches it as well thought so and she's notoriously hard to please hehehehehe. If you still plan on not watching it, I'd say you ain't missing to much by not watching it.. The only reason to do so, is just to say you've watched every episode ever. I'm a sucker for doing that myself |

Another prog I watch is Blindspot, just came back from it's mid winter hiatus. You remember the trailer for it yeah? where the woman comes out the bag and who is she woooooo. Was really cool right? anyway bloody ridiculous prog it's turning into now. Last night it turned into 24 on steroids, done not in 24 episodes but in one lol.. They (doesn't matter who, it's a group that this Jane Doe works for, the good guys) find nuclear warheads have been stolen.. By who; well has to be a Russian done it, always the Russians innit. And this woman, yes it's a Russian woman this time fires a warning nuke. Sometimes you get the warning shot, oh no not here it's the warning nuke hahahaha. She's gonna detonate the other on New York if she don't get her brother back. Cue them having to find her and the nuke before, well it's 45 minutes long so probably about that long if it's anything like 24, suppose to be in real time. It's on a plane anyway this nuke along with the Rusky woman and one of the agents gets up there with her and they fight it out. Only she manages to start the timer back up and then she falls out the plane with said timer on her.. The guy has to jump out and fly to her and then stop it. Yep has the whole 10,9,8 thing going on and yes he does it.. This is pretty much what the prog is like now, them thwarting some potential disaster every week.. Still gonna watch it though, even if it is getting a bit samey and silly now |

I got Ash vs Evil Dead teasing me on my Tivo box as well.. Be watching that soon, can't really go wrong with Lucy and Bruce can yer I see The Terror has gone down a few percent now, 8.8.. People do go a bit mental reviewing stuff don't they, not me though.  It's funny was watching yet another vid on why TWD is failing and was meant to send it to you. There's one bit where this guy I think hits the nail firmly on the head about it.. I'll find it later but this weeks episode was proof positive to what it's become... A soap, which is what a lot of people are saying about it now. Even Negan is going all soft |

Ash Vs Evil Dead Series 3i.imgur.com/y73SXbQ.jpgStarted it last night, and I'm loving it as ever. One of me fave series of recent years, googled it and find out the damn prog has been cancelled. Apparently there was a big drop off in ratings, I'm wondering why? possibly to slapstick focused rather than horror and maybe in the long run not suited to a TV format. I do think though I am incredibly disappointed by the news, that 3 series is a good number. Liked to have seen one more and what does Bruce say? He's hung up his shotgun and chainsaw... End of an era, lets hope something else's era is nearing it's end too.. Here's hoping

Seems all very vague why Ash vs Evil Dead was cancelled. Was it viewers dwindling, the cost of the show, Bruce Campbell deciding against making a new series?.. Watching this 3rd series did think, hmm seems quite an expensive prog this. Yeah not on GOT levels of course but there's deffo a bit of money being pumped into it, had never heard of Stars either until it was on the network

Have a feeling that it's not gonna end well, when has Nordic Noir ever given us a happy ending lol.. Wanted to tell Dee my prediction how it does but didn't wanna upset her. Anyhoo the episode had some truly memorable moments and was slick as ever. Saga in prison having things moved aboot making her flip out was really hard to watch and so sad. That's the thing with The Bridge it can be a tough watch but in a compelling can't keep your eyes off it way. Yes it's not exactly what you'd call pacy but that's the whole point of it, it's a program that builds suspense much like The Killing and the Scandinavians have perfected this like no others.. Never watched True Detective, might have to see if it compares but I'm gonna be biased lol.. Was thinking about the comparison between it and The Killing yesterday, might have to write that up soon For those who don't know, well you PV lol. The lead character in The Bridge has autism which makes her incredibly proficient at her job but also completely inept at socialising. She has no frigging idea how she comes across to others, how they see her and what she's saying and how she's acting. It's a fascinating watch because of that alone being both sad and funny due to the sheer fact of her being totally ruthless and blunt.. She don't mess around does Saga but the most fascinating aspect of it is how much feeling she truly has suppressed underneath, despite not looking like she seemingly cares one iota. Saw an article about TWD and FTWD or so I thought, was just the return date for FTWD. Glancing over it I saw a further article on the programme about the fact on Rotten Tomatoes it is now rated higher than it's older decrepit brother. "There's a growing consensus that while The Walking Dead has dropped in quality, spin-off Fear the Walking Dead is only getting stronger and stronger creatively." I get the feeling this is based on recent series scores rather than overall score?.. Interesting though
