Do you think it the right thing to do, stop guests coming on?. I know PV don't like it, that's gonna be our first domestic  I dunno, I'll think about it in the morning. It's almost 1am now. I'm pretty tired, and off to bed in a minute. OK, now that I've had some sleep, my opinion is that it's probably the correct decision to make it not open to guests. There's too much of a risk of trouble and drama if this forum was open to guests. |

Well I think you can safely say I'll not be going back to the other forum.. I've written to Amity about it, doubt if that will have helped my cause any lol
Maybe this will be a chance for them though, to prove people wrong that they can be reasonable when it comes to their own little group.

Do you find sometimes that when you quote someone you cannot reply properly? the space where you're suppose to reply doesn't show up as it should.
Yeah I know PV don't approve of the no guests thing, don't think he does anyhoo. Sometimes it is nice just to be able to come on and have a quick look without signing on. And there is the thing of people not being able to make the judgement whether they'd like to join or not from actually seeing the forum but then guests opens it up to all kinds of shenanigans don't it lol.

Sport for um sport, poem story and art section for those kind of thangs with a general section for anything else. I haven't had that problem myself. Yeah, I think that you've summed up the main arguments for and against pretty well there. As I said before, my opinion is that cutting out the shenanigans is the most important thing. |
