Newcastle United raided by police after fraudulently claiming to be a ‘football team’
Arrests have been made at Newcastle United under the trades descriptions act after they claimed to be a ‘football team’.
The arrests were made in a dawn raid today after police uncovered evidence of an organised scam going back years, in which the ‘team’ asked locals to part with their hard-earned money based on entirely false claims they had a chance of winning some silverware.

Evil Mr Ashley strikes again.. Gotta say now they've got to the Prem was kinda expecting more money to be spent, been a feeble effort by all accounts. Said it before and I'll say again, because I wanna. Almost as if he's wanting to be relegated, it's truly bizarre And Tiger I hope you remembered to do your FPL team before you left.. Not a good day for me and Tiger... Last minute fluky goal by City in the 97th to be precise and a 3-0 loss to the mighty Magpies for the Hammers. Hope wherever you are Tiger you at least get something good out of the trip away from the footie

Things have a habit of looking a little odd in the Prem for at least 5 or 6 games, then things start to settle down and we start to see what teams will really be about.. Bournemouth were much better today, if they play like that every week they'd be fine. I think Newcastle should be as well with Rafa in charge. The Hammers though have been pretty ropy for a long time now, not just this season but the last as well, something isn't quite right there.. Dunno if they are fully behind Bilić now because with the squad they have, should be doing a lot better.

Could be a few interesting days at the toon, finally gotten shot of a few players the last couple days, with more outgoings on the cards. (Including dwight gayle apparantly). Hopefully means some major movement on the incomings front.
